Church History

The City of Faith Family Worship Center was established on July 29, 2011. After great prayer and consulting God, Bishop Brooks was led of the Lord to begin a new ministry in the City of La Mesa, Ca.

Our first service which was held on July 31, 2011 was a divine assurance that God’s hand of approval was upon the pastor for his obedience to the Lord.

Since our beginning, we have continued ministering to the people of God from all walks of life. The City of Faith is a vibrant, visionary ministry of healing and restoration. We are called to minister to the wounded in the body of Christ; and those who don’t know the Lord. Our sole aim and objective is to serve our community at large through various ministries in our church. This ministry solely consists of its members and functions as a church in good standing.
